Rawhiti School Waharoa

On the 7th of Pipiri our Waharoa was unveiled
at 7am this morning unveiled by Tristan, MIhi, Makia and Kaiden.

It has two big faces like It´s shaped like aeroplane wings with korus and the Rawhiti
school sign. The first face represents the schools merging together and the
second face repersents Tama Nui Te Ra the personification of the Sun.
This afternoon Ata hapara walked through the Waharoa and Whaea Jasmine told us about
the ceremony that happened that a man came and cleansed this plant
that he planted in the dirt.

The Waharoa Is very Important to the school and I hope
that we can have other celebrations at the Waharoa.

Cross country

Cross country

On Thursday I had cross country. 

Me and Rylee R were one of the people for telling the kids in cross country where to go.

We stood by the road cones by the corner of the school pool and the courts. 

After when we finished our job we went to wait at the field I was nervous and thinking of the fact that I don´t enjoy cross country. Mr Redmond said GO! I sprinted through the field leaving my friends behind me I was already very tired I stopped me and Azania were walking slowly but we kept In mind that we did not want to come last ¨at least¨ we said that there were still a few people behind us. Before we knew It we were very close to the finish line in our 1 km race we were back at the field. Sharnee shouting your nearly there and we crossed the finish line I was relived we went to the Sharon and I came 15th or 16th place I was kinda disappointed since I did better last year but I gave It a go.

Morning rotation

Morning Rotation

Today I did morning rotations. I enjoyed them my favourite was with Julie

we did acting and we got cards and had to do what the card said and we had to draw a person and describe the characteristics. The different rotations are Nogo does languages and with Sharon we had to watch the movie Holes and in the movie we had to write word down after my the score i got was 13. I like the rotations it is better than literacy.

My reflection

I made an oil spills slide show

It was easy finding information I just searched it up on google

Mostly everything went well except from making a few mistakes but it was good overall

I needed to change some of my slides either for mistakes or it does not make sense

One of my friends said to re read and make sure there's no mistakes but it made her feel very sad.
